anyone w/ jdm heads

i just put my jdm heads in there 2 piece heads. im having trouble w/ the corners. Are they supposed to look like this if not can some1 tell me how to fix it.

that is how my old two piece JDMs look What I found out is that the main part of the head light and the corner light is made by two different companies. The main head light was made of glass and made by stanley the OEM for misubishi and the corner piece was made my depot and it was plastic. I two are not interchangeable

so do you have to trim the actual corner part the holder?

Not a lot of members have the 2pc heads. From what I see on the pictures, the bottom part of the big pieces are too much in, and the corner is too much out on the passanger side.

I think Stewi had them at one point, and Bambammer bought a set a short time ago too, maybe pm them? Or maybe FrankMB will have an answer :?:

Its gonna be trial and error, I have both sets and the amber corners that came with my 2 piece headlights fit much better...The clear corner doesnt attach the same (1 mounting hole as compared to the 2 on the amber)and the very ends (the piece after the bump closest to the headlamp) sticks out further than the amber corner ...I gave up and stuck with the amber look which I prefer

i got them w/ thje clear i wanted to get the amber might just have to buy the amber then thx guys

What exactly are you talking about? Are you talking about the gap? Did you have to cut any part of the radiator support to get the lights to fit? Maybe you just need to seat the lights a little better. I know BigMike has the same heads so you might wanna send him a pm

the headlights sit fine the corners the bottom of them are pushed out i might just have to trim the bottom end but will see ill pm ppl

DEFINITELY STOCK....... IT'S JDM 8G...

well if you look at the JDM and USDM headlights the JDM corners are definitely taller than USDM.. but thats just my observations... so the bumper might be a factor.
