Hi Mod! I would like to inquire re the replacement of bushing, i saw one topic discussing about prothane and energy bushing. Where i could buy these sets of bushings for my 7G? I leave here in Philippines, can i order it on-line? where would it be? also the price and the part number exact on my 7G.

THANKS!

sorry i'm off topic, but

no need for a press, thats the hard way.
thats how i did my first half.

just get a torch, and burn them. only takes a few minutes to get the rubber to a self sustained fire, then just leave em and start on the next one.
after that, either use a hacksaw or a sawzall and cut the thin metal sleeve out,
if you have prothane, jsut slap em in, if you have energy, use a c-clamp, or preferably a vice and just squash tem in there.
its not to bad.
woudl take the good part of the day,
its only difficult for the first couple cause you are learnign the technique adn getting a system going,

but after that its just an assembly line.

but the gains are sooo worth any trouble it gives you.

in so many ways.

I dunno, when I did mine I found the press to be faster than the torch. I torched one bushing for 10 minutes and it still looked unscathed. With the press I did my entire car in two 4 hour sessions, and that was the first time I had ever done any suspension work. But maybe each person will vary.

well if you HAVE a press, then by all means, that's the easiest method. with the torch method it's a fun little ritual that you get to repeat dozens of times :D
