I'm sorry I dont know much. I want my galant to be loud without doing too much. atm i just have a glass packed pipe and an exhaust tip and it sounds pretty deep. Would a new muffler make it louder than it is now? WOuld you put both of these on http://www.autoanything.com/exhausts-muffl...5A2511A0A0.aspx ('http://www.autoanything.com/exhausts-mufflers/65A2511A0A0.aspx') and http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0006HOY9...ance&n=15684181 ('http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0006HOY9U/002-5812509-7887251?v=glance&n=15684181') or would you only put one on?

Why would you put two mufflers on your car?

Why do you want your car to be loud? It will just draw attention to you from the police and others. Remember that the purpose of a high flow muffler is to allow more airflow from the motor. To get more air coming out, you should also have more air coming in by adding a high flow intake. That combination will give you some performance gains, as opposed to just noise.

N1 refers to an Apexi muffler model. So in other words, these are made to LOOK like Apexi mufflers, but of course they aren't the real thing. Otherwise they wouldn't be $19.95. If you put a straight-through muffler on your car without a silencer, your car will be loud and raspy, depending on the quality of the muffler. If you want deep throaty sound, go with something that has more internal fiberglass and packing while still allowing a high-flow output. A lot of people here have the Flowmaster. A few of us have the Magnaflow. Use the search button to search the site. There must be a million topics about mufflers and exhaust.

wow i neva thought anyone w a galant would use flowmaster, hows the sound?? if u want it deep then buy an exhaust off ebay, the ones wit a silencer tend to be raspy as for the big 4" w/o a silencer tend to be deep

i love my megan catback. installation was no problem (aside from the rusted stock bolts on the cat). sounds great, in my opinion. with the silencer, it still sounds different than the stock exhaust system, and without the silencer i think it sounds great.
