to make a short ram intake, u will need the mas adaptor and filter from an eclipse turbo, however if u would like a cold air intake, u will need the mas adaptor, a 95 civic short ram intake pipe and customize ur own CAI,

yep .... (nice name https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) is on track. you can get the 95 civic pipe at autozone for like $29.99 or something like that. here it is with my so called arospeed short ram intake:

This will fit by cutting like 1" off. You can get it from ebay.

I was just going through ebay one day and it looked like it would fit, so I tried it... surpassing my expectations indubitably.

hey everyone i was wondering if there was a very big difference in hp with the CAI. because i just used my stock air box and cut a very big square whole where the vent used to be away from the engine and just droped a k&n filter in there...??

get a CAI...it will serve you well

i cannot really remember if i felt a difference in performance b/t a CAI and a short ram, it has been too long. but a CAI is definitely better

looks good....however i think i am out b/c of the manual tranny......don't think it will get past the rods......but perhaps i could figure something out. :eureka:

i am not for sure if it will or not, but u hafta move the battery in order for it to fit. first take out ALL of the factory air box, including the little duct next to the battery. next take out the battery tray(i think i did i dont remember ha) and move the battery as far over as u can and fasten it down. now u have a nice somewhat big hole ready for a CAI

Yea i know there is a fair amount of room but i would love to so how much it differs from manul to automatic....i would have to set it up and cycle through the gears to make sure i have clearence for everything. the short ram i ahve in there now...i have it angled too low and well....the filter was rubbed and eventaully tore through. If i keep the car is is definatly something i am going to have to try.

Thanx for the info. I wanted an Intake system, but did want to go through the pain of building a custom one. I found one on E-bay last night, and ordered it. I'll let y'all know the outcome.

What about just regular air intakes? Not cold air intakes but, a ractice or after market eclipse air intake?
