Will this Head Unit fit?

Ok I just ordered the Panasonic CQ-C7303U and over at Crutchfield.com, they say it wont fit in the 8G. Anyone have any thoughts? I already have a Panasonic deck. Its the CQ-C3200U so I figure the probably use the same connector so it would just be plug and play. This was the case when my friend upgraded his pioneer deck. I also ordered te ipod adapter

shouldnt have any problems looks to be a sandard single din radio thats what the 8g's have

i installed a standard single din recently kenwood mp2032

and it fit fine but the trim ring doesn't fit...

you can mod the trim ring to fit if thats what you like it has been discussed several times try searching
