hmm, they should be the same but i'd go with the pilot since they look like my mchullah hids and they are plug and play but that doest matter since you're going from one bulb harness to two.

Did the headlights come with wire harness?

You may want to read up on this too so your hids won't be on all the time extending the life of the HIDs.

Alexvr has Pilot HID's he bought from ebay. They are great and he got the 8k, nice bluish light, very very bright! I think they also offer replacements on the ballasts for free. Check 'em out

cool but aren't 8k a bit purple?

Both of those you posted are essentially the same. Just different manufacturers. I just posted about my HID experience under the good/bad sellers. Be sure to buy from a company that will back up their product AFTER the sale. I would say go with the Pilots or McCullouch.

I just helped my buddy put in his 8k's and they are definately blueish. More blue than my 6k's.

Not to be a party pooper, but why is one of the turn signals orange and the other clear?

cause if you look closely, you'll see that one headlight has bulbs in it and the other headlight doesnt have any.

if those are projectors don't go any higher in temp than 6000K. the blueish/purple color you are probably going after will be there automatically because of the optics (bending light around the beam cutoff shield). i would suggest 4250K for best performance or 5000K-6000K at the most if you want... 8000K would be useless in projectors and may even take away from the projector color flash.

here read this befor buying your HID kit:

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(RSX&#045;CT of www.retro&#045;solutions.com)</div><div class='quotemain'>Most people tend to think that degree Kelvin color temperature is what makes the brilliant blues you see with a projector. In fact, that is only because aftermarket kit manufacturers are trying to simulate the natural byproduct of projectors by creating 6000, 7000, 8000, and 10,000k kits. The fact of the matter is using “bluer” bulbs will not increase the brilliant deep blue flicker created by the projectors; it will only greatly decrease your road visibility. All OEM HID based projectors use 4100k bulbs for the best possible output on the road; the individual differences you see from car to car are the different projectors they use.</div>
