Its pretty easy the hardest thing is actually picking a spot to drill the ballasts and hide the wires. Way easier than installing a system. Have fun

ericbla, what type of projectors do you use for your retro's? i am interested in retrofitting and have done a lot of research on hidplanet.com, and i want to know what type of projector you personally use and ones that you favor.

Is this a good HID kit?

i personally wouldnt get that i never heard of the company and since its coming from overseas there is prob no kind of warranty, if you want to spend less i had the pilot 8000k hid kit before i got projectors never had a problem with them they are a reputable company and they have an exchange program, i had them for about 6 months so i dont know how long they will last in the complete long run tho but i have heard of a few others having them with no problems either, otherwise i would go for a phillips kit or a mcculugh (however its spelled)

So is ebay the best place to get them, or is there a good website? I'm trying to get 6000k's installed.

thats way too much for a brand u havent heard of....search up PILOT HID KIT and those are cheaper and they are really good, they also offer 1 yr warranty and the installation is easy, there are 3 wires on each ballast and all are easy to connect

Do I have to get H4/9003's or can it be any others?

I see a whole bunch, but wonder if any of those will do.

if you have USDM headlights on a '99-'03 galant, then you need H4; you can use something else but the results will probably suck since the light source (arc) has to be in the exact same place as the filament was in the halogen bulb, inside the housing. also i would look into bi-xenon (hi/lo) H4 kits, otherwise you will lose your hi beam functionality. also stay between 4250K and 6000K, if you get anything higher than that you are losing luminosity.
