I'm building my 2.4l 7 BOLT galant 1996,I'm using the stock main bolts (the one's who hold the main caps to the crank)I need to know the torque specs for them ASAP
ANYONE CAN HELP ME?THANKS

i don't know the specs off the top of my head, i will say however do not reuse your old ones.

that's for ARPs....i'll check my service manual and see if it has specs for the OEM studs...but i doubt it

And Im sure just like the head studs theres a dry and a wet torque. Dry will always be higher then wet. By wet I mean using a molyex lube, I also assume the ARPs 55ftlbs is with the lube.
