I'm replacing the bottom end oil gasket in the Eclipse and was wondering if I should just order it from the dealer or online somewhere. I know some of you have the 4g63 as well and I'm sure have replaced plenty of parts by now. thanks.

There isn't a premade oil pan gasket. Get some RTV silicon either from the dealer or at any Autozone/Pepboys/Advanced Auto/Napa.

Just clean the old RTV gasket on the pan and reapply the new stuff...it drys to a gasket.

Apparently there is an aftermarket gasket that can be used, but is not necessary as most have just cleaned and re-sealed. There is also replacement bolts you can buy which some have done.
