Yep black vinal like everybody else but thats because it just looks so damn good. Im happy with the door panels but the dash is kind of sloppy in my opinion but whatever.

P.S. I would just like to thank mistsubishi for using plastic rivits to hold everything together and commend everybody who has done this project because its such a pain in the ass. ok im done.

looks like you can pull the front passenger side material a lil tighter but overall very nice

Looks really good to me too. I've bee wanting to add some black accents to my Tan interior for years. Did you have to pull out the entire dash to wrap the vinyl section?

Yeah i pulled out the whole dash(theres a tutorial on here in the how to section its pretty easy to do), then i had to drill out these plastic rivet type things that they used to hold the wraped section to the painted section. The door panels where the same way except i didnt have to drill the rivets because they were made of a softer type plastic that melted easier so i just used my heat gun for them.

As for everyone else thanks for the comments

Looks very good, but you should have done the entire dash. (Including airbag).

Good job bro looks good! Reminds me of when I got mine down. I like the look of just vinylin' the center piece of tha dash give it a nice contrast. I would just take a second look at tha passanger front door and try to smooth it out a bit but good job...

No I'm just a really good photographer. :-P hahah yeah i love my camera. Its the canon power shot S3IS. Its the step below where things start getting really pricey in the digital camera world.

yeah i do need to smooth out the front passenger side i think it didnt get enough adhesive, and my gf was rushing me to take her somewhere

it would probably be a pretty good upgrade for you since they added a few more things (from what i read) but not be as much of a pain in the ass to learn how to use a whole new camera, unless you were looking to get into the DSLR thing

How long did it take for you disassemble the dash, vinyl it and reassemble if I may ask?

to actually take the dash out i think only took like 30 mins or so, but then to seperate the pieces took me a while because the first way i tried didnt work which was using a heat gun to melt all of the rivits, when that didnt work i just drilled them out. that took like 10- 15mins then to wrap it took me an hour or so. then i had to put it all back together prolly another hour

well in my processes of messing up and rethinking i think it prolly took like 5 hours, but if i would have done everything right the first time probably like a 3 hour adventure.

3 hours eh. Looks like I'll have to find some time on one of my days off to try it.

Did you do it by yourself? I had a hell of a time wrapping my armrest in black vinyl and had to have SLS2000 help me out.

haha thats a really old pic clearing my corners was the second mod i ever did. :-D Yeah i did it all by myself, its not as hard as the arm rest because when you pull the factory fabric off you can use it as a stencil for the new piece, the only advice i have is when doing the dash, mistubishi streched their vinyl in some places so i left a little more fabric to wrap instead of strech in those areas. Wraping my arm rest is the next thing i want to do, i tried it once but didnt have enough vinyl now i gotta try it again. got any pointers, i had a hell of a time the first time. i was thinking about geting a slip cover type thing made because i heard it was hard to wrap.
