They look like knock off Teins. I haven't seen anything bad about them. I dont think 2 inches in the front and 2 inches in the back will look right though.

ya they do look like nock off tein's

i'm trying to get the car to set a little even or at most get the front gap down more so the tires kinda tuck a litte, that's why i'm thinking of going with these, and at this point i just don't feel like going with coilovers or air

cant you just keep the rears in and just change the front.... that is if you like the rear height as it is right now

I am on progress springs and they go a lil lower than Tein and mine don't even tuck in the front. If you want them to tuck you are gonna have to get coilovers.

yes i could just replace the fronts but then i just paid the money for front's and will either have to sell the backs or just leave them sit as money lost.

yes zenn is kinda funny i guess :puzzled1:

i have 18" rims now and the backs almost tuck, i'm not trying to tuck the whole tire just a little bit

thanks

those are the knockoffs that people were selling as Teins... they made them change the name and put thier own name on the product, i, for one, wouldn't purchase those as the quality is a concern. if you want a lower drop, then go with progress or megan...

shaneb

ah i see, ya i remember reading about the tein nock off but wasn't sure if these were they.

how low will the progress springs go? i went to measure and i have about a 2" gap right now in the front so i figure if i get a 2.0 drop spring for an 3g, with the weight difference of the G i should be about were i want which is virturaly no gap or maybe tucking a centimeter of tire

thank you

im not gonna voice my opinion on these particular springs but my answer is gonnabe more universal this time.

don't cheap out on your suspension. you will regret it everytime you drive your car and there is an imperfection in the road.

Exactly. You go for knockoff brand springs, you're going to feel it each time you drive. Spend the extra $20-30 and buy progress or teins. Don't be cheap.

while spring are important, it also matters what kind of shocks you have. whichever springs you feel you like go for em, i myself am also going for the Zenn, my uncle in greece has em and they feel awsome. either way you go with all these brands you can't go wrong.

who cares what your uncle in greece has on whatever car he drives, i can guarantee you that these aren't the same springs... they are the knockoff teins, they changed the name, if Zenn is a big name in europe, then that's why they chose that name, most people here in the states won't know any different and wouldn't think twice that these used to be cheap knock-offs that aren't safe to drive on... come on, use your head...

Megan gives a 2" all arround and progress gives a (V6) F2.2 R(1.8 ) or (I4) F2.0 R1.8. If he wants more than that he aint gonna get it without coilovers and to get good ones that wont screw up the ride you have to drop some serious cash. For coilovers I would go with Megan. My rear has to tuck (Progress) or else I cant go over bumps. Anyone know how expensive fender rolling is? My front tires are already shot and I need to fix the camber on the rears or else my backs will be worse.

This is my ride on progress springs and there is not tuck, and I am riding on 18's. Also the only tuck I see on yours is the rear.

ah the front's tuck a little or atleast with the wheels turned they look like they do.

that dose bring up a good question, because i have an I4 not a V6, so the progress springs probably won't give the the drop i'm looking for then ????

thanks

are you sure?

i agree with you there.

sure one could get lowering springs that lower the car 2 inches or even more than that. but what about the shocks? im 99% sure that those lowering springs are gonna be mated with shocks and struts that weren't made to be lowered or lowered more than an inch and a half.

what does that mean? more stress to the shock, decreased life of the shocks, and looking at the big picture, bad ride quality.

just something to think about.

i know my front wheels don't tuck... the only way you are going to get the front to tuck is with airbags... because you're going to have to "untuck" them to drive... there would be no way to turn...i'm on GR-2s and progress for the past 2 years... settled very nicely... this is what it looks like with the 17s...

http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/12/web/2088000-2088999/2088386_72_full.jpg

if you're looking to tuck more than that in the front, then i suggest you just go with fully adjustable coils or airbags... because there is no going lower with springs....

Ill get some pics with my I4 on progress springs with GR-2s. I have had my car dropped for about 5 or 6 weeks with no pics and I just recently cleared the corners but I'll get some up soon to show what it looks like on the I4.
