that is a good alarm with a nice amount of suspansion. make sure everything is hidden well and you add extra sirens throughout the car inside and out.... as well as melee weapons (at the least) close to the door lol....plus the remote start is nice on those warm and cold days, this is the best type of investment you can make if you plan on modding your car

nice choice. now go put it in already.

my old roomate got his car broken into once so he got an alarm. then his car go broken into again before he had a chance to put in the alarm.

i'm buying one of those one of these days. I've had my car for 4+ years and still haven't had an alarm installed. Then again, I have nothing valuable in view in my car.

Are you going to install it by yourself?

Viper is great! It has so much postential. I used to have a DEI system, but it didnt work too well. Sometimes it would work, and other times not at all, so I got the Viper system, and it hasnt failed me yet. Good choice. Should install it yourself, its a really easy install.

they have so many add ons for the 791 its crazy i wanna get the proximity sensor and some extra sirens... i figure with my viper alarm and lowjack and removable steering wheel with the lock i should be pretty good i hope lol

the install is pretty straight forward i think the wiring diagram is posted in this section

where did you purchase all these modules for the 791? I've been doing searches on google/msn and can't find the modules to add onto the 791.

So any module for the viper alarms will work with the 791? They just pretty much have to be tapped into the brains or the aux wiring?

most of the accesories and add ons for viper alarms aren't made by viper but by their parent company DEI.

Nice choice. I have had mine since March or so. I agree with the others about the stock features and the expandability of the unit. I currently have it set up like Chromey with the window rollups. It was also attempted to have the moonroof open and close also, but that didn't turn out too good
