my drive axle cv boot is ripped on the passenger side,...now i plan on ordering a new axle.my question is, should i replace both axle (driver, passenger) at the same time or just the ripped one...and how difficult is this task to do,..is it even a diy...any suggestions are appreciated.. thanks

Its not too bad, should be instructions in the FSM. You need a 32 or 33mm socket to get the large nut off the axle, and a big breaker bar. If the other boot looks fine, dont worry about it.

and a bucket to catch some of the tranny fluid.
