Check engine code 1400

i got the car scanned it said 1400 so i thought it was the map sensor replaced it diosconected batery a day later the check engine came back on.... any help on this?? should i get the car re scanned?

Usually the light comes on when there is a problem with the emmissions i.e. Map sensor,O2 sensors, etc................. When you find out what it is let me know.

Could be another code so I would have it rescanned.

p1400 is for the MAP or MDS sensor in our case. Its either not working or not plugged in. Its just the sensor on top of the intake manifold, its held onto the mani with two 10mm bolts. Only thing this sensor does is check and make sure the EGR is opening correctly. You wont notice a difference with this code, just the light on the dash.

i did replace that sensor and disconected the baterry so the check engione light gets off then a day later it turned back on
