so im coming into some money, not a ton but a little. my first thoughts are performance. im thinking of buying the rpw intake mani, tb,and injen short ram, rpw headers and the invida cat-back. This should come to about $2,500. i think with a tune this could show some decent gains? money well spent?

define decent gains. for the same gains you could just go n2o and save $1500... or for $5000 you could go turbo.

i dont have $5000 or else i would go turbo. and the only problem with nos is that i would have to fill up the tank all the time, i want power availible whenever and that doesnt constantly cost.

pretty much halfway for turbo. if you could save up 2500 w/o spending on ext., i'm sure it'll be easy for you to save up another 2500. :D just my spare change though.

you answered your own question. You're expecting too much on the term "decent". Are these mods marginal, but satisfactory? For the money you have, it's a step up.

if you do everything yourself. (install parts yourself) You can push 165 HP for an I4.

I/H/E. plus can get forged piston, maybe little internal swap. some weight deduction will help.

actually save a little more, you can get a Supercharge for 2500 to 3000$. but the installation is kinda expensive, but if you can install everything on your own, your will have enogh

I'd say truthfully save the money. Some days I look at my car, and wish I could have the thousands back. Other days I like it.

Haha now I'm strapped for cash and could really use any extra.
