New to Galants

I just bought a 2003 Galant ES 4cyl.

I was wondering what modification is needed to install these tail lights...

welcome to the site man.... for the tails, if they come with the harness, then you should be able to plug and play. if not, you will have to modify your harness.

welcome, if it DOES come with the harness you will ahve to cut you plug of and wire it by color except i think that there are 2 green conected to 1 green wire and 2 green with white stripe conecting to the 1 green with white stripe, if i remember correctlly, if it DOESNT come with the harness you will need to mod yours and add a new bulb to the harness which is found to do so in the tutorial secton cosmetically they just bolt right up

Keep looking on ebay for gen 1, 2, or 3 with the harnesses, its much easier, but it may cost a bit more
