6a12 question

I was wondering if one of you guys have a galant 2000+with engine 6a12 2.5l v6.
I want to know wich gearbox will fit those engines

the 6a12 is 2.0l
the 6a13 is 2.5l

The application of the 6A12 that I know of was the FTO the 8G VR-4's used a 6A13TT.
Your mistaking it for the 2.5 makes me think that your possibly talking about the 6G73 2.5L found in the stratus.

the 7g world spec galants came with a 2.0l 6a12. revved to 7500 rpms
the 7g vr4 came with a 2.0l 6a12tt twin turbo awd

microgalant isn't in the states, which woudl be why he asked about a world spec engine i presume.

Ah, shoulda probably looked where he was located. How many 7G VR-4's did they make. Dont see many of them, of course I dont see many 8g VR-4's but the 7G's seem to be more illusive.

And man 7500 rpms on a factory V6, thats not bad. Not that revs are power, but their a step in that direction.

Cool, and their available with a 5spd.

Probably a lower tune to allow them to run on some of the crappy pump swill in certain nations. Probably be able to crank some power out of 'em if you're getting good gas.
