i blew my crankshaft pully about 8 months ago. luckily, i was like 50 ft from my house and my mechanic is close by. he hooked it up with the tow. anyway i had to get a new pulley. everything was good untill 2 weeks ago. driving to boston on the highway stuck in traffic, it happens again. my power steering went out and so did my altinator. So i was stranded for the weekend up there and had to buy another damn pulley. is there any reason this would happen two times so close to each other?

1. Improper instalation. It happens to the best of us.

2. Faulty replacement part. Even OEMs aren't 100% perfect.

3. Your engine has an incredible ammount of vibration.

4. Possibly your water pump, power steering, Alternator, A/C pully(s) are siezed/siezing.

I'd seriously suspect one or more of the above.
