the picture in the website does not show the exact shape of the bar though. it's very light aluminum. the cross section looks like 2 Hs back to back "HH"" . i like it. improved the handling a lot!

Here is my Freedom Design on my 2002

My Strut Bar ('http://www.liquid2k.com/gizmo4me//freedom.jpg')

When I put it on I noticed a difference in handling immediately. If you get the chance you should definently get one.

Performance Tuning Has them in stock. Got mine in one day.

How tight are you supposed to make them when installing them.

As tight as you can. It shouldn't move at all once it's installed. You don't need to jack up the car with the Freedom Design. Just mount it and tighten the adjusting bolts until its even on both sides and tight. A word of warning...the strut tower bolts (the ones on the car, not the STB) crack real easily from what I've heard. I didn't have any problems, but be careful not to overtighten them.

Thank you very much for your info.

I won't over-tighten the STB bolts to much to the car, But I will tighten the bar itself once attached.

Thanks.

I think I upt mine on backwards, The bar is closer to the front of the car than the back. Does this matter?

By the way I notice significant improvements in handling and even less vibration after installing.

Ordered some 17" Wheels on Friday can't wait.

it doesn't really matter if its backwards as long as its bolted to each strut tower with all 3 bolts a piece and the strut tower is tiight

Its as tight as I could get it. Due to the flat design of the bar I couldn't twist it tighter I had to pretty much get it as tight as I could get it then get it on. It feels pretty solid.
