i came up on a evo 8 intake manifol, bold pattern looks almost idenical to the outlander manifold. i belive it would work, but im guessing the evo would be more pricey than the outlander one.
outlander on the left, evo on the right.

alot less bulky and better looking imo.

Nice find. When do you plan to test fit it? If it does work what all would you need from the evo for this to work right on the 4G64?

although cleary it would bolt up.
the intake runner port shapes/sizes are dramatically different.
you woudl have a brick wall of turbulence from the flat ridge that the incoming air would be hitting.

you'd ahve to do a lot of porting to the head.

Krispy, i was also hinking, the Evo mani does not have the opening for the antifreeze coolent. The antifreeze pipe would not be flush...

you know how the G and OL Manifolds both go between the block and the antifreeze pipe on the far right.

so to summarize it, it would take a lot of fabrication to bolt it up?? so it's a no then?

The EVO manifold bolts up but it wont work. The coolant passage is an issue, as is the intake runner angle as said by Pedro and John respectively. I tried that like 2 years ago.....

Do you have a gasket for the galant? Put it up to both the evo and outlander manifolds.
