could be the fluid, brake sensor and or ABS.

7gs have ABS?

yes but not all models, i think the GS, and the LS models had them standerd and the ES as an option.

That explains why i can lock up my tires on my ES.

ok here what happens now, it is a es so no abs, but after i drive it for liek maybe 15 misn the lights goes off. It did the same thing twice, once when i went to work and when i was comign back. also right after the light went out i pulled over and pulled the ebrakes to make sure that aitn causing it and it worked fine. Light would go on when ebrake pulled and and off when released. I thinkin git might have soemthign to do with the cold. brake fluid can't freeze can it?

the contaminents in the brake fluid such as water can freeze.

i say double check your fluid and master cylinder. Then if all else just change your brake fluid.

+1 on that.

If you are low on brake fluid its a good indication you have a leak somewhere in your system. Most common spot for a leak especially for rear brake drums is the wheel brake cylinders. The inner seals in them tend to go bad and leak. If you inspect your rear brake drums and you see signs of leaking its probably the case.
