that's probably because whoever bought one rebadged it as a galant...lol

Yup...there was a a Eagle 2000 GTX...basically a Galant GSX. Same N/A 4G63 powerplant and AWD platform just badged with the Eagle emblems and grill. There are super rare to find....I have seen only 1 in my life and I had to look twice to see what I saw. Just another Eagle car in their lineup during the late 80's and early 90's years where almost every car in the Eagle lineup was a Mitsubishi built car. 8)

They didnt make a whole lot of the 2000 GTXs, but they are around. Eagle also made the Summit which was Eagles version of the Mirage.

that's awesome!! I work for mitsu and never saw one... i always see older cars like real VR-4's with 4WS, 3000gt VR-4 hard top convirtables (only 500 made)... Even a few starions... never saw one of those before...

There are quite a few of these cars in canada, between 3 of my friends, there are 4 that i can attest to. i am currently looking for the right one. Mitsubishi didn't sell cars directly in canada till i think 2000, and before that, was the rebadge and DSM approach to marketing their cars here.
