Well I bought this little piece of ICE from a local shop. This is the way I took action towards this task, there are many ways of doing so, but I took my quick, ghetto mentality way of installing this. So follow at your own risk!Lets get down to it.

The package + contents.

It doesn't say it on the package but it has an incredible night vision feature. I've seen it installed on an older BMW and it was very impressive.

Now lets get down to work.

First, observe what you're trying to take apart. We're taking out the keyhole cylinder. I didn't feel like taking apart the entire assembly. So, observe.

Me, personally, I just snapped the silver connector piece off and pulled the rest apart. Here is where the silver piece connects...

*notice* I already took it off!

From there, simply pull the rest apart by pushing the cylinder towards the exterior.

Now you are ready to install the camera. This camera came with 2 rubber washers. I put one between the camera and the exterior, and one between the locking plate and the inside of the hole.

Secure it tightly. It also came with a very small allen wrench and screw to install into the locking plate of the camera into the trunk but i found it useless.

From there, just run the wire through carpeting/seats, however you please, to your monitor, plug it into your monitor, ground it + 12v DC power it, and your ready to watch girls walk behind ur car and not get caught staring. Enjoy!

So far, after showing the last picture to about 10 good friends of mine that know my car and always notice when i change something as small as a badge couldn't spot the camera lense. So I cant imagine anyone noticing it when they walk by, compared to a license plate frame camera.

Ive never had a remote trunk popper. I have an alarm but the trunk input was never wired.
