Are you using the ignition for a switched signal?? It would be much easier just to tap into the fuse panel (inside the car) just find a fuse that is switched power meaning the fuse is only active when the car is on. Go to autozone and buy a tap in fuse:

Blue/red at the ignition harness is your switched wire. If you're going to tap directly at the ignition make sure you put a fuse inline. Otherwise very bad things can happen.

yea i had it orginally to the stereo remote then my buddy that does systems and alarms for a living said the reason i'm having problems with my system is b/c it doesn't have enough power for the remote so he suggested the ignition remote wire...

You could wire a relay to the radio's remote lead to increase the availble current. 1 relay and wire up as follows. 85 to the deck's remote lead. 86 to ground. 87 to the yellow constant wire at the radio harness. 30 is your new remote output to the amps. the benefit of doing it that way is that the amps will still power down when you turn the radio off. If you go to the ignition for remote then the amps will be on whenever the car is on, regardless of the state of the radio.
