i was trying to pull the axle out of the trans but the iner cv joint just came apart the green boots are still in the trans but the axle is not connected to them can i just get some axle grease and pack the joints full of it and clamp them back on or what should i do

well if your trying to get the axle out than reataching and pulling on the axle will proably just make em seperate again.

I used a small wedge to drive in between the the green part of the axle and the tranny until it slowly poped out. I worked it around in a circle and was able to pull it with ease afterwards..

no i already pulled them apart will they be okay to put them back together and clamp the boot will that be okay

depends on the axle U joints, if they have alot of play then i would just replace the axle. It works out better in the longrun.
