why would everyone recommend KYBs for this guy if thats what the car came with? maybe someone replaced your stocks with KYBs *shrug*

i recommended the KYB's to him because he wanted a good reliable strut that is cheap = KYB GR-2. i know they are stock but still way better then a blown one right?

KYB does make the factory shock that comes on the stock galant. GR-2s are the factory replacement but they are a lil stiffer though.

you are correct sir. Although it's labeled as a mitsu part number it was manufactured from kyb. The GTZ/GTS/GT were a close model of the GR-2 it's not as "stiff" as the real thing. If you want aftermarket brand very close to stock I suggest the Monroe brand of course KYB GR-2 may cost just as same price.

thanks guys, My car has 160 miles on it already and man I can feel every bump so its time to get some good struts. How much would be a good price for all 4 struts?
about 200?

Well since your gunna be working on your struts, I would reccommend replacing your bushings. Preferably with urethane bushings. My other car was riding hard, I could also feel every bump and crack in the road. I replaced the bushings with urethane bushings, and it rides nice and smooth. The old bushings were so bad, some of them fell apart when I went to take em off.
