Just don't want to go too crazy and whatever I like in 18's seems to be out of my price range, also I don't want to go too slim with the sidewall....
Basicly just going for a better look without taking any risks, the car is stock and all I want for it is just the wheels and angel eyes.

I really like the TSW's so I'm glad to hear somebody else say it.

i like #1, trust me go with the 18's they cant be that much more and you will be plenty safe with the tires etc i have them on mine and no problems so far, and it is what most of the other members are running here also with no problems

Why do you think so?

you dont "have to have a 7.5 wide tire" but it is recomended a 7" would be fine though

wider is better (up to a certain point). i would get at least 17 x 7.5 +45mm just to fill out the wheel well width but that's just me. (actually i wouldn't buy 17's at all unless they were for track only use). 17x7 +(36mm-42mm) would look the same from the side i guess, and would fit, but i just like wider wheels than that.

the important thing here is the offset as it will affect how wide the wheel and tire can be and still fit under the fender. 18x7.5 +45mm 225/40zr18 is tried and true on the USDM 8G and will always fit w/ no problems (even lowered as much as 3"). hundreds if not thousands of us have (or have had) this configuration.

Nice choice. 17s are the biggest I would ever go. I prefer 16s though.

17's are actually about perfect, a 16 is a little too much sidewall and 18's are too heavy and have too much rotational inertia.

However if Hoosier keeps its A6 only available in a 275 for a 16" I'm certainly going to stay with that size.
