There are some H4 Nokya bulbs that i really really want and they are $30. Is this a good buy,and are the Nokya bulbs as good or better than the Silverstar's?
Thanks

From oncoming traffic the Nokya's are nice but lighting pleasures silverstars are better. For looks or for performance you have to decide which suits you better...

i have heard that Nokya melt harnesses due to their high wattage drain. i think they are twice more wattage drain than stock.

watch out for that. and their lifespan are kinda short. I have APC 4000K, they last me almost a year now with no prob.

3A Racing makes heavy duty harness for the H4 it's highlt recommeded for high wattage bulbs. Those bulbs usualy melts the harness best when switching to high beams most of the time. If you're that person I strongly recommend the heavy duty stuff.

I used Nokya headlight bulbs and foglight bulbs without issues for over a year.

I had APCs, Silverstars, Nokyas, Ebay bulbs, Hyper Industries, Naxos, Euro Designz, PlasmaGlow, StreetGlow. The Nokyas were by far the best.

if you're running a bulb thats 55/60 watts you should be fine because thats what the factory bulbs were.

if you are running a bulb that is more than that, thats when you risk frying the harness because the bulb is demanding more current than the factory bulb did.
