mufflers.... noob question

how come all the magnaflow mufflers are 2.25"
i was going to get a 2.5" catback and i cant find a magnaflow muffler that will fit on 2.5"

at the muffler shop they would have the answer... simple piping would do it..

if you get 2.5 the muffler shop will make it fit it is just a small increase so it can be pressed out
