I got my heads and tails in for the 7g, now my front end is complete. I also have all the parts for my 5-speed swap except the big part the tranny. I found one so I should be picking it up Monday.

I love those headlights.

Gah I've been trying to order my JDM lights for the past month and Ebay has been dead. Sucks considering I saw them all over the place when I was broke during my Spring semester.

Btw the glass JDM headlights are sold here if you're interested Don.

I got them from trigger, not sure what model he got them off of but all JDM 7g's came with lights like this.

yeah both the 7g and 8g have city lights, there just not hucked up.
I was thinking about doing blue city lights in my 7g like b19wheels

The one peice plastic headlights are Jap spec, while the glass headlights with plastic corner indicators are NOT "JDM Y0!" Not one single JDM Galant had those headlights, they were on most of the export RHD spec Galants, ie Australian, NZ, European Galants.

Also what you call 'city lights' are called park lights. All Japanese cars have these, it's a requirement. Much like the US spec cars have to have the corner lights lit up, reflectors on side of rear bumper etc.

most of us just call the two piece "world spec" headlights.

i like them much much better than the plastic garbage jdm lights.
i don't care what anyones argument is, the glass is better.

as for the parking lights.
we know what they are.

we call them city lights because we want to.
our US spec headlamps have the amber corner parking lamps as well as
a clear inner parking lamp. we call them city lights basically so there isn't any confusion. when we say city lights, we mean the marking lamp is actually in the headlight lens, as opposed to having its own reflector housing.

Yeah I prefer the glass 'world-spec' headlights too, I've got some from an NZ-new Galant to put into my JDM Galant - the plastic lens ones go yellow over time and don't produce a good beam.

I see you US guys have seperate indicators on the bumpers whereas JDM spec doesn't. Do you guys have the repeaters on the guards too?

I see a couple US cars over here (like the "Toyota" Cavalier) with the orange marker lights, always confuses us thinking it's indicators.
