We have LANs down here every month, heaps of chicks attend them, my GF even comes to the occasional one :P

The Biggest LAN I attended was A3 in Auckland in 2001, with 500+ people... ahhhh good times

we have gamenight at my school every 6th week of the quarter and we play pc games in a lan in one of the labs though this last time no one really played in any pc games they were all playin xbox 360 :( im more of a pc fan and not real big on consoles like i used to be
