JDM 3rd Gen Lights

hey i just bought the Jdm 3rd gen tail lights.... i wanted to know if they had to be wired differently b/c i saw the pic of some1 who cut off the wiring harness to it and then reconnected it but i wanted to kno if that was right or what... anyone who has 3rd gen lights plz enlighten me on the install

yes you must rewire them and add the extra socket.

It's even easier if you have a Altezza harness, just clip and plug in extra socket.

i guess i'm the only loser that is still using the stock harness with the jdm lights... i just didn't use the clear blinker.. so i'm still going with three bulbs :shock:

Do the tails come with the JDM harness? If so:

If the don't come with the harness you will need to do what furiousgtz posted above.

what do you mean by the altezza harness caz i got altezzas now but i was gunna sell it with my car... i don't have the jdm tailights right now but there coming in the mail so i think i might get a better understanding once i have them in front on me.

the pic looks madd easy... so i think i'm not gunna stress about it n just do that.... i just don't lyke the whole idea of the other tutorial about cutting the light and sh@t lyke that
