Help!!!! Rotors warped already!!

I have a 02 GTZ and my rotors are warped already. I only have 15K miles.. Anyone else have this problem?? Sorry if this has been asked already, but i didnt know who else to ask? Went to dealer they told me $165 for new pads and resurface rotors.. Is it worthit. Or does anyone know of any good Brakr upgrades? PLease let me know. Thanks!!

mine warped at 13k. but i drove it for another 17k b4 deciding to puy new ones. there is a group buy on some rotors for like 180 all 4 corners if you need some...

I had my front pads replaced at about 21,000 miles, and now they are starting to sqeak (i'm at 29,200)...they never said anything about my rotors having a problem then though...

Stock rotors suck. It's best to replace them with something better than the ones from the dealership.

I replaced mine with some aftermarket crossdrilled and have not had problems since. I'd go ahead and use up your dealer warranty before buying something... save $$. They replaced my rotors the last time and turned them on the car. It's seemed to help.

Also make sure you torque your lug nuts to spec. Uneven torque on the wheels can cause the rotors to warp. It's around 80 foot pounds...
