Intake Question

I have searched for a while now and I can't seem to find it... I read somewhere that if you want to replace your Intake Manfold that you need to get one from a 2gen diamante without abs... I have a 99LS V6 w/abs... does that mean I have to put one on there that has abs?

i believe the diamante intake intake manifold is a direct bolt on.

yes, but I need to know which one I should get? Or do all 2nd gen Diamantes have abs?

Has anyone with an 8th Gen Galant actually installed the Diamante intake manifold? I hear much discussion regarding this swap, such as the battery has to be moved/relocated, no room for intakes, unable to use the Diamante throttle body due to firewall clearance problems, etc. Is this just relevant to the 3rd Gen Eclipse or does the same apply to the 8th Gen Galant as well? It seems the Galant has a bit more room under the hood than the Eclipse. Anyone?
