Trying to find the right FOGLIGHT MOD

Well i have been searching and I have came across a whole bunch of fog-light rewire tutorials. But I am looking for the mod that allows you to use the factory OEM Fog light to turn on the fogs without the headlights on. I found one thread but the link in the thread didnt work. Anyone know how to do it? Is their a working link to a tutorial? I dont want to change the switch...

pm djscript. He is the one who did it like that, but he designed a circuit board and wired it to his fog light button. The one I did used another switch to turn on and off the fog light.

is there any way to wire up the fogs so they dont even need the parking lights to be on and still use the factory switch?

i want them to be completely independent from the other lights on the car but i dont want to change the switches

i want this also but i have a 7g. i guess which wire do i need to work with so that it will be fully independent from the other lights.

i guess what i was asking for was which wire on the fog light relay do i need to give power to? i want to be able to turn off the fog lights by the factory switch. i'm thinking instead of having head lights on, i want to be able to turn the fog lights on just by having the car on.

thats a cool write up but it wasn't the right set up for me. i want to keep the factory look.

the only setup like that was that the fogs would turn on with the parking lights i believe. Thats about it,

you have to use a relay

if you want them to be fully independent u cant use the switch i think since the switch is wried thru the ecu

if you want your fogs on when the car is on, then i say you need to tap into the accessory or ign 2 wire

well just with parking lights will do. i guess i just dont want to wire the whole thing. im thinking the factory relay with a new lead will allow me to only run them just with parking light. i just need to know which one. i want fogs with parking light that i can turn off with the factory switch.

is there a wire that ties the fog light switch to the headlight switch so it only turns on when the headlights r on? if there is i was thinkin of cutting that wire and connecting it to ign or acc so it gets a separate source and you could power ne time with the stock switch
