Do what me and Matt did. Just get some wire connectors and make your own.

WELl u can try the sticky 8 gen tranny swap on the top of the forum

it has all the info

as for the reverse lights harness it can be unscrewed from the tranny,

next u take the 2 wires from which u made the short to start the car,

the 2 reverse wires are on that harness, cant remember the colors though

just take out a tailight a check the wires going to the reverse bulb

and voila

well if u have a 2.4 L the axles are good and will fit, 100 % sure for the 2002 , might be diff for the other years

if u have a v6 thats another story

everything is in my tutorial, if you try and they are not going in you are deffinatly doing something wrong here. Read it again and check the research at the bottom of the page. Axels are an easy thing and i don't understand why this is even an issue to discuss

Roman, go easy on this guy, its not like he's done a bunch of swaps like you and me. Its probable one of the first times he has even taken an axle out of a car. Dont forget your first swap, I wasn't getting mad at you when you were calling me 4 times a day for help.

They might not being going in easily if you bent up the locking clip on the end of the axle when you were fighting to get it out of the tranny. Make sure that clip is loose, you should be able to just barely touch it with your finger and it should move very freely and shouldnt bind up. Also put a little gear lube on the ends of the axle, it should help it slide in easier.

thast the thing i put lube on the ends and everything im still having way to much trouble getting it in i donno its so weird the rings on the ends are loose i donno its odd i put it back into the old tranny witch easy like a push and it was in jsut not with the manual

Make sure there isnt a bunch of crap clogged up in the tranny. The axles are inserted right into the gear splines on the differential, there is very little clearance, so any sort of debris would stop you from putting them in.
