As some of you know my hood is a little crumpled from the accident, about .15 of an inch at the highest point. I want to take my car to the carwash but I dunno if it's safe to do so...should I just wait until my new hood comes in?

Yeah but I'm still afraid of too much water getting into my engine bay https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif Besides where I go they wash it by hand anyway https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif No need to have frostbite

Our engines are sealed. I degreased and rinsed off my engine without having to cover anything up.

this would be the only thing to worry about. .15 is nothing

Well I guess I have nothing to worry about https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif The dang hood won't be in for another week...you'd think they kept this part in stock.
