does anyone else have a sticker on ur passenger side window that says"if removed stereo system will not work, or somethin like that, and if so what the hell does it mean and do?

It means that if your battery dies your radio will not work..................lol
Your radio needs a code if it is disconnected from the battery.

Did you buy your car new? If you did I don't know, must be like those fake ADT signs. If not the person who had the G b4 you must have replaced the radio with one from an 02-03

judging by the fact that you have subs, im going to guess that you have an aftermarket radio, meaning the security feature doesnt apply

It means if the factory radio is stolen it cannot be reactivated unless you have the code and even then thats iffy being installed into another vehicle.

i dunno i got a cd player that came from an 02,03 galant off ebay and put it in my 7g no problems

i have a Dual aftermarket, but i took the factory one out when i got the car, so i can take the sticker off now

hey how do you like that dual, i know they're cheap, but they look as cool as the $600 ones out there...

Try going about 200 to 250 bucks for a kenwood or pioneer you'll be happier in the long run trust me ive tried all 3 brands.

I've used Dual before but never owned one and they are just aight. I have owned both Kenwood and Pioneer and they are solid brands.
