my car just died out. there isen't any spark on the spark plugs . current doesn't come out of the distributor to ignition wires then sparl plugs. anyone have had thes problem with out changing the distributor.what to do for least cost.

Try cleaning up the cap and rotor first and see if that makes any difference. If that doesn't do anything then you probably need to change the distributor.

Could be a short in a wire or somethin but i would think the distributor.

You getting a signal from the ECM to the distributor? Also I believe a crank sensor will cause a no spark condition if its bad and doesnt send a signal from the crank position to the ECM. (then from the ECM to the distributor) If it is the distributor, its very easy to replace. Unlike most cars it can only go 2 ways into the cam (does not have a gear on it :D )
