I know there's another thread here somewhere about the Mitsubishi CAPS program, but I figure I'd link to the latest version I could find (covers up to 9G Galants). You can use this application to pull up diagrams for almost everything on your car and then get part numbers that you can use at https://www.mitsubishiparts.com/oe_parts_catalog.html to get prices and even order the parts.

I see requests for part numbers every now and then, so I figure this would help you all out. I use it ALL the time to cross-ref part numbers from different models when I go junkyard digging.

You can download the program directly from here: http://www.stealth316.com/misc/wincaps-setup.exe

EDIT: 100 MB! Dialup users beware.

More info on it can be found here: http://www.stealth316.com/2-wincaps.htm

Please merge this all together and sticky it if you get a chance, mods. It's a really, really valuable resource.

Thanks!

CAPS is no longer used by Mitsubishi, they have gone to ASA, which you can update regularly. It's basically the same program, but is a bit more secure.

Caps again in case the other links doesn't work...

You can download it from here: wincaps-setup.zip (http://www.4shared.com/file/108258547/4c2e6eec/wincaps-setup.html)

That is the parts lookup program that the guys behind the counter at the Mitsubishi dealerships use.

From what I remember installing, just run the setup, and let it install into the c:\ drive. After that, I think there is also an update patch to get the latest info, and you just unzip it over the installed files.

To use the program, you need a VIN code for the car you want to look up parts for - you could use the chassis code and other things, but its much easier to have the VIN code.
