I was wondering how you guys wired the fogs/turn signals that i got? I know that we got the 893 plug, and the fog is h3. I mean, did you guys just cut and splice stuff or did you do something else.

I plan on getting them working tomorrow so I can throw my h3 hids in.

Those lights are like the ones on the new Max. One of them is suppose to turn on when you have your indicator on to turn and one for use as regular fogs so I'm guessing you could just splice.

yea i guess so. just wondering if i could get a h3 socket and spice that into the existing foglight wire and plug it into the jdm h3. The signal part i think i got figured out

yes you can just splice in.

just thought I'd share this info to those with the JDM dual fog/turn combo. I dont know if you guys did it this way for the turn light, but I just tried it and it works. The circuit keeps the relay coil energized when the turn signal is in the off part of the cycle. Once the turn signal is actually turned off, the turn flood light will turn off in about half a second.

this is what it looks like when it is put together.

Make sure when you connect the ground that you dont use the ground wire of the OEM turn signal. This causes slight dimming of the turn flood light. Use another solid ground..either the chassis or the neg battery terminal.

you can use 1N4001 diodes. I used 1N4007 instead since that's what I had...1n4007 can handle more current, but it's not needed in this application. FOr the 9400 uF cap, I used two 4700 uF caps wired in parallel.

by the way, that yellow circle there is the light.

So is the H3 HID bulb a confirm fit for the jdm fogs?

Time to get my 5th HID set. 8)

does anyone know if you can buy just the connector somewhere?
cause mine didn't come with any connectors, so i have really crappy wiring and i would like to fix it.

the h3 conecctor will work with the 893 plug, only remove the orange rubber has the 893 plug. and it will fit , i did it in my car

yes the fogs are h3 you just slpice it in...the basic way to do the turns is to just splice it into the parking/ turn signal wires...or you can go to the fusebox...the corners are 1156

I know this thread is ancient, but is there any chance someone has the images and can upload them again? :) I'm trying to get this to work on my car, but I have no idea what type of relay I need, and a circuit schematic would help immensely...
