factory spoiler

I have a 96 galant and it came with a factory spoiler, and the light in it is out, how do i get the cover off? do i have to take the spoiler itself off, it seems impossible to fit a screwdriver between the deck lid and the spoiler itself

i'd check the connections to the spoiler and make sure they are good first. replacing the light on the spoiler can be pretty hard. uhm since it is an oem piece chances are you gotta see if the dealer has a replacement part or if you're gonna need a whole new spoiler first...
