After almost 4 yrs of being a member here at TGC, with all the help this forum has given (I hope I helped some too), I think its only right that I post some of the pics of my car here before anywhere else.
Enough of the drama! :o
Here's some key infos I want to share;
1. The front lip of the car is the VRG lip which I modified to fit an '03 usdm bumper.
2. The sideskirts were homemade(DIY) by me. Hard to find a stock pair, so I decided to custom my own!:)
3. Audio system were also custom installed by me including wiring, molding and upholstery in the trunk. Saved a lot!
4. HID 6000k with PIAA Ion crystal fogs
5. Rims are Volk Racing GT-V 19x8 with Toyo T1R 235/35R19
Here's my car! Feel free to leave comments or questions if you have any. More photos when I post on cardomain. Thanks.

im impressed a lot of nice work going on there and the engine bay is clean
sideskirts came out great as well as the lip, only thing i would personally do to finish it off is add a lip or something to the rear bumper, if you had the talent to make your own sides from scratch im sure you could do somethuing there also

looks great tho keep it up

Can I just say that car is amazing!! Its unique from just the lil things that you have done w/ it...and I am completely impessed. To use the vr-g lip on the stock bumper is a great idea.....and will probably start a whole new trend. The car itself is clean as hell from the engine to the trunk. Awsome car bro and I look forward to some more pics for my collection.

Thanks!

lonestar22- re the lip, I just cut at both ends extend using fiber glass & plastic pieces; securing those then bodyfill and sand, sand , sand to smoothen.

fatal1- I will be starting the rear lip soon. I just trying to look for a place to buy it. Although, it's alot cheaper to do it by myself, the time it takes is th enemy.

Thank you for all the positive comments! By the time MOD '07 comes, I wish I have my JDM heads already cause my mom is supposed to visit from the Phil on May. Hopefully, I would've done the lip too.

Thanks again!

"Reelax--nice wheels" --- Thanks man! You got some nice rims too!

Just to entice people to go DIY.--- the total cost of my sideskirts, both sides is only a little over $80.00. Did it on a Sat, Sunday and halfday Monday. In short, 2.5 days. It's not that hard. If you're local I could even help you(1 week notice).

Thats really nice looks sick... How did you do the side skirts?

---- I used the stock mudguard like piece in the front as my baseline then used as little fiberglass as possible (so it won't get heavy)in the shaft of the skirts with resin of course. but making sure its gonna be tough enough if you accidentally hit a curb. Next is sanding then application of bodyfiller, as thin as possible to prevent cracking in the future. Sanding again and filling, sanding until you get the look that you want.
Basically, the procedure is just like any other fiberglass project. Sounds simple and it is. The only thing is PATIENCE.
I hope this helps. :)
* I don't know if this will help but to me it did. I used the Evercoat fiberglass resin instead of the Bondo brand. Its a lot more expensive but Evercoat is more forgiving than Bondo.*

"]Man your car looks great come do my trunk :D[/quote]

Thanks!

If you do a search;
1. I shared somethings here on how to install the CF trunk without the making too much mod. I got no Dremel during that time, so I was force to find a different way. It's easier and makes the CF trunk sit better.
2. I was also the one who shared the info on the plate trim of a Honda Civic will cover that long empty space above the plate on an 8G CF trunk. It only cost $20 at any Honda dealership. I just wrapped mine in CF too.

Hope this will help you!

Maraming salamat po! Thank you very much in English! I just installed a pair of racing seats which I had a shop reupholster first to much the interior, so it won't appear too flashy but still look nice. I'll post some pics soon coz the brackets that I made, made the seats sit too low. :wink:
