What do the 7G Galant front lower control arms look like? Are they straight or are they an A-frame like the 8G? The reason I ask is because I want to order new ones along with the ball joints, but it seems as though all the places I look online are telling me that my 1999 3.0 V6 Galant has the same front lower control arms as the 7G Galants and 2G Eclipses. If I try to look up a 2000 Galant or Eclipse, all that is listed are the ball joints. WTF!? I'm going nuts! My best bet is actually looking like I'll have to pay out the ass to get the parts from a Mitsubishi dealership.

Front lower control arm on a 7g/2g are two seperate pieces where as the 3g/8g are one piece, definitely not the same parts. Mitsubishiparts has front lower 8g v6 control arms for $112 per arm and it includes the lower ball joint.

That's what I thought. I don't understand these parts sites how their listings are so messed up. $112 per arm isn't bad, but I wonder how the arm is made. The OEM one is solid whereas most aftermarket ones I've seen are stamped. They look kind of cheap. Time to talk to Jeff. :D

Yes, it included the bushing.

I can take a pic of it you'd like you can see what it came with and the quality. LMK.

Well I'll be damned! I always thought that site had aftermarket parts, and could have swore when I visited it in the past, the prices weren't very good. It must have been a different site with the words mitsubishi and parts in the url.

Thanks Seth!
