Recently got an e-mail from Highline Wheels. They're having a huge sale on rims. I just got off the phone with them and the bolt pattern that we are looking for is 5x4.5. That is the same as 114.3.

Those prices are pretty sweet... If only they had wheels that I actually would like to see on my car. =/

The 16 inch Jades look alright... for being 16 inches.

i want to order 17 or 16 too
but i got a question
i have a stock 99 i4 now
do i need to lower the car if I get the 17s?
which ones will fit my car??
and what are some good tires to get with them??

Jeff

you don't have to lower the car, but I recommend it. My 2k1 ES still has stock 15's and there is alot of wheelwell...the 17's might take a little out of that, but not as much as 17's and lowering it...just don't lower it too much.

the bolt pattern you're looking for is 5x114.3...which is the same thing as 5x4.5...our stock offset is +46, so anything close to that will be cool.

If you do what I'm doing, they told me that the wheel and tire package came with Z-rated Falken tires...I'm waiting on the specs though...I'll let you know.

By the way, for the 17's, tires and shipping...my total is $648.98...give or take a few bucks. That's all 4.

Are these prices for real? they seem like an awful cheap is that per rim or for the set.

Jeff

the e-mail I got said for the set of 4...so I called them and checked and they confirmed it...the price I have listed is what they quoted to me over the phone for all 4 wheels and tires, mounted and high speed balanced including shipping.

that is rediculous... i got my rims off this guy on ebay for 250 and i thought my shits were cheap... shit... i'm gonna sell mine for 400 w/ tires and then buy me a set of these bad boys... probably the Jade's... i've seen a G'Ride w/ Jade's... it was hot...

Good Ass Find...

I'm gonna call them and verify prices and what comes with this...

will post my findings...

nevermind... so much for that idea... the only wheels they have that will fit our car first of all is the blade and the electra and they're both ugly as sin...

next... the price only includes the wheels... there's no tires included... and i asked if they had a special on tires... they quoted me as $500 plus for 18" tires...

that's no savings to me...
just thought i'd let you all know...

One...

hey...these prices are pretty sweet. might buy me a set of wheels for the galant and the vw. many of the wheels have the galant's 5x4.5 and the vw's 5x100 bolt pattern so i can play rim tag more and more heheeh

Ok, apparently I was misquoted...the wheels I am going to get are gonna run me 280 for the set before shipping. The tires are gonna cost me 500 before shipping. Hope that clears some $hit up. Total price for 4 wheels and tires, mounted and balanced, shipped to my door, will be around 930.

930 is way too expensive........With 1000 I can get a set of 4 wrap with tires in 18" wheels...

yeah...I know. I'm just gonna order the blades and get them wrapped somewhere around here...cheaper and no shipping.

offset is pretty much another way of saying backspacing in a way. offset is the distance from like the hub to the front of the wheel and backspacing is the distance from the hub to the rear of the wheel.

but 40 or 42 should work...

Ey, I found another place with a larger selection and free shipping. This place sells the rims in packages with the tires. The prices are a little more steep then the place above, but just check it out. http://www.wheelmax.com ('http://www.wheelmax.com')

wheelmax is awesome...their selection is huge. I checked there too, but the sale on the package of enkie's ends on the 6th and i'm short on cash until the 13th. trust me, I was damn near tears when I saw that. 600 bucks 4 wheels and tires shipped is awesome.
