I've searched and I can't find any information

How do I actually do this? I think it would look nice on my white G when I black out my badges and such.

There is a couple ways. eBay usually has some offers - one is for a film that you apply like window tint, and once in a while there are plastic covers that people have had made. The second is harder to find, but they do exist. There are also spray cans of stuff like Niteshade that people use. I hear the finish on that stuff is kinda dull, and I think you have to polish it or buff it to make it nice and shiny.

Edit: links. (2 minute search)

I used a tint film specifically for headlights and taillights. Any tint/graphics shop should be able to put their hands on it.

I sprayed my black TYC tails with it and they came out very dark and the light output is great when you turn on your lights it looks great and when you step on the brakes it looks even better. No harrassment from cops either. Plus if you ever want to go back to original just use paint thinner. I used one can for each tail light, and one can of clear for both. It came out very professional and glossy. Pics soon!

i've done it to my taillights and part of my headlights. i'll post pics up later. i used dia wyte, its a lens paint from japan. really good brand and you can determine how dark u want it. no problems with anything like fading or anything.
