yup, how weird is that. the new JDM lancer will now be called the "Galant Fortis", and the "lancer" in japan will only be used for the Lancer Evolution X. and it will be called the X in japan, while in Europe and USA, it will only be named Lancer Evolution.

Yes they are renaming it Galant Fortis because they want to lead people to think that the 10gen GALANTs will be sportier and more compact...hopefully like an 8g with more aggresive looks
