Now there's alot of work to be done but the big thing......was I took off that VTEC badge.......
I also removed the pinstripes except for the black diamond on the front quarters.....
so that's it for now.....more pics as I continue my quest for a sweet G.....

if you look at this pic....you can see a ding in the rear quarter panel where the door and rear panel meet.......my buddy was loading up some amps after a gig and I was loading my guitar.....he whacked my car with the amp....man I was crushed!! :cry:

Alot of auto paint stores will mix up your color and put it in a spray can and pressurize it for you. call around and find one that can do it. Then go in there and buy a pint of W69 white basecoat, and have them put some in a spray can for you. The pint should cost about 20-25 bucks and it will be a little extra to have them put in in the spray can and pressurize it.

Then just go to autozone and get the spray can primer and clearcoat.

i took off the whole box and support and even the box underneath the car. the water will not splash that high in a huge amount man. you should take it off.

yeah....clearing the corners made a HUGE difference! I was looking at the car today thinking exactly what you said.....maybe I'll lower it and leave the stock rims on.......if anything lower it and then get new 16's later down the road.

yes.....white 3M electrical tape......I thought it wouldn't work but I think it came out fine.....I like them....gonna have to redo them and get some lines cut a little more clean......the corners are a bit choppy on the drivers side.....my blade was really dull, need a sharp one. 8)

so I forgot to report this......

my wife ran the front bumper of my G up on a HIGH curb :shock: made some pretty bad gouges on the front bumper underside. :(

funny thing is I wasn't at all pissed........I was shocked when it happened, she was bringing me home from the doctor....my arm was in a sling.

she cried.....and was really upset about it.....oh well, it's hardly noticeable.....good thing I hadn't dropped it yet!! :shock: :shock:

LOL, I did warn her that when I drop it she better be even more careful....though we are in the process of buying a house and the "G PROJECT" has been put ON HOLD. :cry:

Our baby is due in 2 weeks and my daughter is 11, the car seat barely fit in the G and we needed more room....so I traded it in and am now a VW Touareg owner.
