have you looked into the tutorial??? you gotta trim the frame.. not necessarily the headlight.. i'm at work so i can't take pics yet.. but it's a bitch trying to sit it in flushed.. so you go to be really carefull with the trimming..

Unless you have experience and the tools necessary, id recommend you take it to a body shop and let them do the work for you. My guy trimmed the necessary parts of the frame that needed to be trimmed, and now they sit almost flush. They only stick out by about half an inch. And thats because my hood is bowed (will be fixed soon  ). But yeh, unless youve got the tools and experience take it to a shop. I paid $80 to have mine installed. And that aint bad.

and say i get it trimmed and everything.... is that going to mess up anything if i ever wanted factory headlights again (Will the factory heads be flush still?)

like what ma meng said, if you're in doubt just bring it in.. i've done some destroyings before that's how i got my experience.. just as long as you don't mess up where the old barackets screw into, then you can cut away..

Here's my tutorial I did a while back for someone (http://www.galants.org/forums/articles.php?action=viewarticle&artid=35) It's really not that hard, and only takes a dremel. And yes, you'll be able to put back your old heads should you decide to.

have you been to a tgcny meet? its like who DOESNT have jdm heads + grill + hids.

and yes, you will need to do a lot of cutting and some banging to put on the jdm heads
