View Full Version : CLICK CLICK Noise coming from engine

Good day guys.

So my car has this click click noise coming from teh engine, I dont knwo from where, when I try to listen for it and follow it it seems like its comingo from to places, it happens when Idle, if I step on the gas it goes away.

Any idea what it could be? anyone else with this?? I've heard other people that have G's talk about that sound, but its people that dont care about their cars, so I wont even bother to ask them.

Check your oil level.

Dang man! V8 swap in the 8g! Noice!

Could be lifter tick. Check the oil as DryBear mentioned.

I'll take a look at that, I just got my oil changed, mayeb they didnt fill it up right.

Seized?? like it died??? what was it? I only have like 87000 miles on it. Now Imma be scared of driving it.

it was at 76K with a warranty that expired at 75K.
seized as in the cylinder walls were too scratched for the pistons to move. he had to get a new engine

Ok I get it now, im going to have some work done on it soon, like camber and also the Timming belt, I'll haev those guys check it out, hopefully is something not that expensive to fix.
